Outward Bound Intervention (OBI) for Personal and Team Development
iUnleash as an OBI is different as compared to the run-of-the-mill
OBT /OBL (often referred to as "Team Building programs"). Some of the differentiators are as given below -
- Natural obstacles and elements of adventure are necessarily
interweaved in the design of all OBI to enable participants
experience a truly representative environment, in terms of
uncertainty and ambiguity. We try an not use any artificial
obstacles whatsoever. We are flexible about locales and choose
what is most appropriate based on the client's objective and
the related design of the intervention, which is 100% customized
for your requirements.
- The underlying theme for all interventions is discovery in
the "here and now". We believe in "whatever
you want more of, is already there" and facilitate participants
to unfold and make such discoveries - in the depth as well
as in the height.
- We take an appreciative approach and enable participants
to rise above personality problems to look for possibilities.
- We are not limited by use of particular methodologies for
facilitation. It is entirely need based and we often dynamically
make changes in the design based on the group processes even
as they evolve during the program.
- The methodologies we use are non-intrusive and non-threatening
enabling a high degree of openness to and ownership of the
need and choice of the participants to move and evolve.
In most cases, participants experience immediate shifts at
a 'being' level, during the program, in addition to taking
back learnings to be applied back home, in terms of "doing".
- We engage well trained, qualified and certified outbound
experts for safety and guidance.
We are sensitive to gender and other diversities in the group
and make necessary arrangements to accommodate the same.
- All outbound interventions are conceived, designed, coordinated
and facilitated by 'senior learning facilitators', after sensing a representative group
of participants, well before the program.
